I have been working on one of my Chihuahua web sites for about 6 weeks the only problem I have with it, It's on a free server which has a problem with being down for days at a time, So I have decided to go ahead and buy a domain just for my Chihuahua's family members. So now I am just at the point of almost being done with the free server, Now I'm needed to turn around and start working on setting up a whole new domain. Super Tiny Chihuahuas And The Best Prevention

Please understand this is a very tiny puppy that requires A LOT more care and time than a normal size puppy.
Tiny puppies are a lot different in every aspect of care than regular sized puppies.
If you have purchased a little tiny dog that is going to weigh less than 3 lbs grown,
you must pay attention very closely to all these instructions.
NOTE: I am not a licensed veterinarian; therefore I will not be held liable for any information I have
given here or lack of information. This outline below is only a recommendation based on my experience and by reading other posts online by breeders and veterinarians.

Feeding & Prevention of Hypoglycemia in small tiny dogs
ALL tiny puppies should have a heating pad (covered with receiving blanket or towel) or something warm to crawl inside of for warmth until they are 2 lbs.

Your puppy MUST have a good quality dry small bite dog food 24-7 in addition to CLEAN fresh water.

Feed your puppy one tablespoon of Gerber baby food (Meat) on a paper plate and watch him/her to make SURE they eat it!
Do NOT leave your puppy without seeing whether or not they have ate their baby food. IF they did not eat their baby food, you MUST find something right away like (meat products, i.e., cooked turkey, cooked chicken, cooked beef (NO Pork) unless that is all you have. You can also use canned meat baby food meals (they also like the weanies by Gerber, and the Graduates. DO NOT MAKE YOUR PUPPY WAIT TILL YOU GO TO THE STORE…YOU NEED TO HAVE all THESE THINGS AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES!

You MUST give the product called (Nutri-Cal) to your puppy 3-4 times per day!You can buy this product online or at petshops like petco and petsmart and other fine places.
Important NEVER leave your puppy without feeding him/her and giving 2 cc's of Nutri-Cal to your puppy before leaving or before bedtime… DO NOT FORGET! This baby‘s life is depending on you… No matter how tired you are, please take care of your Chi baby before retiring to sleep.
IF you ever find your puppy staring at you glassy-eyed, and acts like it is in a daze,
or its on it‘s side swimming and cant get up or it can act kind of stiff, your puppy is suffering from low blood sugar and YOU MUST ACT QUICKLY! Give your puppy 2cc of (Nutri-Cal or Karo syrup or Honey) put inside of the roof of the mouth or on the gums. Wait a few minutes and repeat. Call your vet as soon as possible! Take your puppy to the veterinarian as soon as you can get in,and do NOT wait! You must treat your puppy again with Nutri-Cal or Karo Syrup or Honey before you go to the vet!
Another important tip for teacups!
DO NOT let any veterinarian vaccinate your puppy with a whole full shot ever, until that puppy is 2-lbs!
If you have purchased a real little tiny dog that is going to weigh less than 3 lbs grown, You must pay attention very closely to all these instructions. And When it is time to vaccinate your puppy again, PLEASE feed your puppy within one hour prior to vaccination, Then give your puppy 1cc' of Children‘s Liquid Benadryl, then have the veterinarian give your puppy 1/2 of the shot you wish to use, AND ABSOLUTELY NO LEPTOSPIROSIS in the vaccine!!
Have your veterinarian or you look it up online if your vet questions this protocol. Do NOT let that vet vaccinate your puppy with a full dose, cause this can kill your puppy! its been a known fact with tiny puppies.

When it comes to Chihuahuas, why keep only one?
Chihuahuas are loving, playful, and sweet
With their big brown eyes and dainty feet.
They love their people, oh, how true!
And all those silly things humans do!
But as much as they love us, they like their own,
To keep them company when we're not home.

For, he may have people that are all his own,

About The Ultra Tiny Teacup Chihuahua's

As you most likely already know the Chihuahua is the smallest dog breed that exists in the world today. It is one of the more popular dogs, and is one of America's few native breeds. There are only two kinds of Chihuahuas -- the long coat, and the short coat, though they do come in different sizes.
Apart from that, there is no other kind of Chihuahua, though breeders and owners call different Chihuahua types by different names. One example is the Teacup Chihuahua, or Tea-Cup. The Teacup Chihuahua is not an official breed -- rather, it is what breeders call particularly small Chihuahuas, like some breeders call the little larger Chihuahua’s a “Toy Chihuahua”, and the more larger Chihuahua which some call the Standard size Chihuahua. I truly believe in the long run that most people are handing out these different names to the different size Chihuahua dogs to just help classify them. As we all have our preferences, in the long run I don’t think this is really a bad thing, But I do wish we all could get on the same page as far as size meanings.
The name Teacup Chihuahua was given to the tinier size Chihuahua as some say as a marketing strategy, to make the Chihuahua stand out more and create a better identity for the smaller dogs and some say they are given more value. The name teacup has become popular, lately, however, that people assume that it is a breed of its own, but its not. One of the reasons why it's become so popular now is because many celebrities have been getting their own Teacup Chihuahuas for pets and the public is seeing these cute little dogs on TV and in magazines tucked under an arm of a known celebrity or in a pocket purse being carried by one.
Some Teacup Chihuahuas are extremely small. Some breeders as myself do not encourage the breeding of very tiny Teacup Chihuahuas because the very small ones have a high risk of suffering from various genetic defects and can have medical problems that can take place like Hydrocephalic or Hypoglycemia.
The Teacup Chihuahua also has the temperament of any normal Chihuahua, Chihuahuas have very stable personalities and are extremely loyal to their owners.
And can be suspicious of strangers. Despite being small, Chihuahuas also have their normal-sized counterparts' tendency to bark at all strangers at first meeting.
People buy Chihuahuas because they're very easy to take care of. They are small, easy to carry around and keep anywhere, and cost very little to feed, groom, and house. They can be a little difficult to housebreak, and most breeders find it easer to train them to go on potty pads first before outside potty training, but they are also very intelligent animals in many different ways, some are being trained to be service dogs for the handicapped. Chihuahuas are very loyal to their owners, and no matter if it’s a Teacup size or Toy size Chihuahua, or a standard size there’s no difference in the love they have for their owners.
Owners who have short coat Chihuahua’s may want to consider getting their pet a coat or sweater and even a harness. As Chihuahua’s are small and have very little fat under their skin, which makes it more difficult for them to keep warm during cold seasons.
They are also fragile in a few areas on their body, one is around the neck area, so if owners want to take them out for a walk, it is better to use a Chihuahua size harness rather than a collar which could easily choke them. Also most Teacup’s legs are very fragile, the smaller size teacup Chihuahua has very tiny legs almost the size as a chicken drumstick which could break easy if dropped the wrong way by a child or if it jumped down off of a chair. It’s important to supervise your Chihuahua as much as you can.
Please Note: The Super Small Ultra Tiny Teacup puppies, or Chihuahuas born with the dwarfing gene are extremely small 2-lbs and under, those pups should not be sold to just anybody! It takes just the right person to care for one of these types of Chihuahuas.
If you are buying a Chihuahua, be careful of people who offer you this type of very tiny Teacup Chihuahua. More often than not, these super tiny Chihuahua’s will need special care and a lot of veterinary attention throughout their shorter-than-usual life span. I suggest if your wanting a very small Chihuahua for a pet, is to make sure you buy from a breeder that will advise you on which type of Chihuahua puppy that will truly suite your needs most. My own advise is if your really wanting a tiny teacup is to make sure its going to reach 3-lbs or larger and have it vet checked for any life threating defects that would prevent the puppy from reaching it’s normal adulthood. Yes some of the really super tiny ones do die at an early age so please remember this when you go to spend the money for a new baby.

Are you really ready for a puppy?

There is almost nothing as lovable as a new puppy in your home. Puppies add new life to a home and become a family member quickly. Children and adults alike are enamored with this new little furry bundle of joy. However, as adorable as puppies are, they also require a significant amount of responsibility by their new owners. It takes some preparation to understand how to keep a puppy happy, healthy, safe, housetrained, have manners and get along with others.
Raising puppies can be a bit like raising children. Puppies, like children, need affection, attention, proper care and feeding, consistency in teaching them and they need to be treated well. Puppies will respond according to the way they are treated. They are curious and will get into anything available to them. It is important to keep anything that can harm a puppy out of the way, such as poisons, sharp items, electrical cords, plants or flowers and other objects the puppy may be tempted to chew on. Make sure and provide proper puppy toys for your new baby's enjoyment.
Before you bring a puppy home, consider the following:
A puppy can be a commitment for 10 years and even more if its a Chihuahua.
Puppies will cost money each year for health checkups, food, toys, supplies, grooming needs, license fees and possible emergencies.
Puppies need room to be housed properly and a place to be exercised.
Puppies need time, attention and training; they may need two to three hours per day of their owners' time to get a well established routine in place.
Puppies can test your patience and cause trouble, just like a child.
Puppies, like children or adults, will be lonely if left alone too long and may cause trouble if they don't have some attention throughout the day.
Male and female puppies may have different characteristics; be sure to read about the breed you are considering.
Some breeds are better suited for harsher climates than others. Consider your environment before bringing a puppy home.
Puppies can be a major emotional commitment and sometimes and inconvenience. Be prepared for interruptions to work with the new family member. Also, talk to your family about how the puppy will be raised. What will the rules be? Who will feed and take care of the puppy? Clarify in advance these issues so the puppy can be a welcome addition to the family.
If you consider the factors listed above, then you are ready to bring a new puppy home!
